Quick and Easy Thank You Card

Today my husband asked me to make a thank you card.  He needed it for tomorrow and it was already 8pm. Normally I like to plan out my cards and give myself plenty of time, but tonight I was a little more rushed. I have to say though that I was happy with this card. So here it is.

I started with Canson water color paper. Using the anti-static power I then stamped my humming bird image using Versa Mark ink. I also stamped the flower that came in the same Inkadinkadoo stamp set, then covered it with detail gold embossing powder. After heat setting the images I decided to work on the background. I used pink, blue, and purple distressed ink with my sponge blending tools to create a background. Then I spritzed the background with water and once again heat set the background. I added a rhinestone to the flower and the humming bird eye as well as a few sequins. For my background card I once again used the Versa Mark ink to stamp the flower and then used clear embossing powder on top.  I heat set the background and adheres the card from on top.

This card only took about 30 minutes to make. It was fun and easy as well as cute. I hope the thank you shows how appreciative we are for our friends help.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful productive day!
